Give Your Grad Year
$20.20 for 2020
This year the Merage School launched its newest fundraising initiative, Give Your Grad Year. The Give Your Grad Year initiative is a way for our alumni to come together and join the Merage School’s philanthropic community. With a simple monthly, quarterly or annual gift, alumni can commemorate their graduation year (i.e., 2020 graduates give $20.20) and join their classmates in supporting the next generation of business leaders. Each contribution goes directly to student scholarship, allowing exceptional students to grow and thrive at the Merage School.
“Since my participation in the Merage LEADS Program, I have been taught to ‘give first, give often, and expect nothing in return.’ I was ecstatic about the opportunity to give back to the school that gave so much to me. I have committed to giving $20.20 (as a 2020 alumna) each year for five years. While it’s not a substantial amount monetarily, ‘Give Your Grad Year’ is substantial in meaningful ways. My participation and donation show how grateful I am for UC Irvine’s Merage School for the invaluable experience I had in my classes, organizations, and events. I hope my classmates and fellow alums will join me in this initiative to support the current and future success of The Paul Merage School of Business by giving their graduation year of $20.20.”

“I ‘give my grad year’ through a quarterly contribution to The Paul Merage School of Business because of what the School means to me. My MBA experience equipped me to lead—not only in my professional career, but in my community. As our alumni ambassador in Orange County, I encourage my fellow alumni to consider their impact on our special community. Together, we can take the Merage School to new heights!”
